HACKENSACK, N.J. – The Fairleigh Dickinson volleyball team continues its homestand this weekend with a pair of matches against Brooklyn-based schools, St. Francis Brooklyn and LIU Brooklyn on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
Friday's match against St. Francis Brooklyn (7-13, 1-4 NEC) is set for 5:00 p.m., while the Saturday tilt against LIU Brooklyn (11-7, 4-1 NEC) begins at 4:00 p.m. Both matches can be watched live on NEC Front Row.
KNIGHTS AS OF LATE
The Knights (3-16, 0-5 NEC) are looking to end an 11-match skid when they welcome the Terriers and Blackbirds to Stratis Arena this weekend. The team has been in contention throughout this tough stretch and looks to get on track as they play their as they reach the half-way point of their eight-match homestand.

Carly O'Sullivan and
Taylor Wyckoff have been busy on the court in their final season with the Knights. O'Sullivan, who has spent time as libero and outside hitter this season, ranks fourth in the NEC at 4.14 digs per set and has added 35 assists to her season ledger, which is second most on the team. Wyckoff never leaves the floor as she plays a well-rounded game for the Knights. The senior leads the team in kills (157), total attacks (528) and total blocks (66).

th in the nation at 17.7 digs per set. That rate is also tops in the NEC this season.

McKenna Setterlund continues to play a major role for the Knights this season and ranks second on the team with 184 digs this season and fourth in the NEC at 7.82 assists per set.
SCOUTING THE TERRIERS
St. Francis Brooklyn enters this weekend off of a big NEC victory over Robert Morris last Saturday. The 3-1 (25-16, 18-25, 25-18, 28-26) victory was the team's first over the Colonials since 1994. Senior outside hitter Aleksandra Gligoric has paced the Terriers all season and was named the NEC Player of the Week this week after averaging 4.55 kills, 2.55 digs and 0.89 blocks per set to go along with four services aces as the Terriers split a pair of conference matches. Gligoric leads the conference with 4.01 kills per set on the year, which is good for 49th in the nation.
SCOUTING THE BLACKBIRDS
Entering the weekend, the Blackbirds sit in second place in the NEC standings and have won three straight matches. Including a 3-2 victory against Robert Morris and 3-0 win over Saint Francis U. For the second time this season, junior outside hitter Viktoria Fink and sophomore libero Natalia Rivera earned NEC weekly honors in the same week as announced this past Monday. Fink was named Co-Player of the Week, her third top honor this year, and Rivera was tabbed as the Defensive Player of the Week for the fourth time. Rivera earned her fourth NEC Defensive Player of the Week award of the season by contributing 5.50 digs per set in two LIU Brooklyn victories over the weekend. Fink averaged 4.38 kills and 2.62 digs per set to help boost the Blackbirds to two NEC wins over the weekend. The three-time NEC Player of the Week is currently fifth in the NEC with 3.33 kills per set.

The Knights take a break from NEC action to host Manhattan next Wednesday, October 18. First serve is set for 7:00 p.m. at the Rothman Center. These teams met earlier this season at the Holy Cross Invitational and the Knights prevailed 3-1 (25-16, 19-25, 25-22, 25-17).
