TEANECK, N.J. – The Fairleigh Dickinson baseball team will host Bryant at the Naimoli Family Baseball Complex this weekend.  The Knights (13-12, 4-3 NEC) and Bulldogs (17-5, 6-0 NEC) will play a single game on Friday (April 8), followed by a doubleheader on Saturday (April 9) and a single game on Sunday (April 10).

Friday's game will begin at 3 p.m. and first pitch on Saturday and Sunday is scheduled for 1 p.m.  Fans can watch all four games online at NECFrontRow.com.

The Knights and Bulldogs played a four-game series in Smithfield, Rhode Island last May and then met twice in the NEC Tournament.

FDU earned a 7-2 victory over the top-seeded Bulldogs in the opening game of the 2016 NEC Tournament.

The 2016 Knights are led offensively by senior John Giakas (Staten Island, N.Y./Tottenville) who boosts the team's top batting average (.350), slugging percentage (.550) and on-base percentage (.424) on the team.  He is also first in home runs with four and runs batted in with 18.

On the mound, FDU is led by redshirt junior Logan Frati (Manorville, N.Y./Eastport/South Manor).  Frati is a perfect 4-0 on the season and has allowed just five earned runs in 37.1 innings.  He sports a 1.21 earned run average and has two complete game shutouts on the year.
