EMMITSBURG, Md. – Fresh off scoring a school record 35 runs on Wednesday, the Fairleigh Dickinson baseball team will look to carry the momentum into a four-game weekend series at Mount St. Mary's. The Knights (15-16, 5-6 NEC) and Mountaineers (4-23, 2-10 NEC) have already played four times this year with the Knights winning three times. Friday's first pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m. with a 1 p.m. start slated for Saturday and Sunday.
The Northeast Conference is playing an unbalanced schedule during the 2016 season with each team playing a series against each conference member and an additional series against two opponents. FDU plays Mount St. Mary's and Sacred Heart two times this year.
The Knights are currently fourth in the NEC with a .455 winning percentage, while the Mountaineers are seventh in the league at .167.
FDU experienced an offensive outburst on Wednesday in non-conference action at Coppin State with a school record 35 runs. The Knights won 35-24, snapping a minor three game losing skid.
Sophomore
