Box Score TEANECK, N.J. - The Fairleigh Dickinson baseball surrendered six runs in the first three innings and five more in the fifth inning to fall to the visiting Red Storm of St. John's 16-1 on Wednesday afternoon at the Namoli Family Baseball Complex.
St. John's (5-6) scored those three first inning runs on a RBI single by Robbie Knightes. Knightes then scored on a Gui Gingras two-run home run to dead center. Knightes drove in his second run of the game in the top of the second after the Knights went one, two, three in the bottom of the first.
John Giakas (Staten Island, N.Y./Tottenville) doubled in the Fairleigh Dickinson (2-6) half of the second, but was stranded there as the next three Knights went down in order.
Michael Donadio homered in the top of the third to make it 6-0 Red Storm. 
John Chalupa (Monroe, N.Y./Monroe-Woodbury) got the start for the Knights and went 2 2/3 innings while giving up six earned on eight hits.
Neither team scored in the fourth inning; then St. John's put another five across the plate in the fifth. All five runs came with two outs.
The Red Strom tacked on a run in the sixth on a Jamie Galazin RBI single and then four more in the seventh to make it 16-0.
Fairleigh Dickinson got on the board in the eighth inning -- the game ended after eight due to darkness. 
Craig Alleyne II (Philadelphia, Pa./Springside Chestnut Hill Academy) reached on an error and then advanced to second during 
Matt McCann (West Windsor, N.J./West Windsor-Plainsboro )'s at-bat. Alleyne II stole third during McCann's at-bat also. Alleyene then scored on a throwing error by Kyle Cunningham -- the St. John's catcher. The Knights were threatening for more but 
Bradley Rodier (Sichlerville, N.J./Timber Creek) lined out into a double play to end the game.
The Knights return to action on Saturday at the Namoli Family Baseball Complex for a doubleheader against Lehigh. First pitch is scheduled for 12 p.m.
