BRONXVILLE, N.Y. - On Thursday afternoon, the Fairleigh Dickinson men's tennis team turned things around topping Concordia, 5-4, after falling to Bryant days prior. After the Knights snatched doubles recognition to begin the dual, Concordia battled back in singles play in an attempt to combat FDU's dominance. With the score knotted at two points apiece, Knights representative Gonzalo Quintana (Guayaquil, Ecuador/Colegio Particular Pert) beat out his opponent 6-0, 7-6 (4) grant FDU the lead yet again in his return. After Pedro Carvalho (Lisbon, Portugal/Secundaria do Restelo) won his matchup at #4 flight singles, FDU never looked back.

Jacob Whalley (Wirral, England/Calday Grange Grammar School) jumped out on his opponent 6-2 at #1. Concordia's Jui Mao came back to overcome Whalley and took the next two games. Diogo Garnel (Lisbon, Portugal/Carcavelos Tenis) added to the win column. Garnel took the opening game 5-7 but Concordia's Ofir Ginat quickly combatted that winning the second go-round 7-5. Garnel came back, though it remained close to ice the matchup with the final score, 6-4 to round out the road matchup.

The Knights are now 4-7 on the season and will look to improve on the clip when they face the Temple Owls on April 10.
