HACKENSACK, N.J. – The Fairleigh Dickinson women's soccer team will try to start 2-0 in Northeast Conference play for the third straight season on Sunday when it travels to Wagner for a 2 p.m. tilt.

Dara Battistoni (Pleasant Valley, N.Y./Arlington) converted a penalty kick in the 115th minute to give the Knights a 3-2 win over Saint Francis U in double overtime. The Knights played the final 80 minutes down a player.
SERIES SCORE
This will be the 17th meeting all-time between the Knights and the Seahawks. Fairleigh Dickinson holds an 8-6-2 edge in the prior 16 encounters, including going 2-0-2 in the last four. The Knights are 2-4-1 all-time on Staten Island.
SCOUTING THE SEAHAWKS
Wagner comes in on the heels of a 4-0 loss at Sacred Heart on Friday and sit at 2-10, 1-1 NEC. The Seahawks topped LIU Brooklyn in their NEC opener 5-3. That win snapped a seven-game losing streak. Megan Fritz and Sydney McNutt pace the offense for the Seahawks. Fritz leads the way with five goals and McNutt is right behind with four. Three other Seahawks have scored. Katie Viscardi has the last two games in goal for Wagner and is 1-4 on the season.

The Knights will try to win their 13th straight game against NEC opposition and 10th straight NEC game dating back to last season.
