Box Score WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Fairleigh Dickinson men's soccer team fell to Army West Point on Saturday night by a score of 1-0. The loss drops the Knights to 2-4 on the season, while Army improves to 2-3-1 on the year.
The Black Knights scored the match's lone goal on a header in the 53
rd minute. Army's Cody Guerry delivered a cross into the box, which Nick Williams headed into the goal.
Army held a 13-7 advantage in shots and a 6-3 edge in shots on goal.
FDU's first chance of the game came in the sixth minute as senior
Tchamy Dantse Dantse (Darmstadt, Germany/Gymnasium-Gernsheim) had his header saved by Army keeper Chris Britt.
The offensive pressure came after the FDU defense blocked a pair of shots by Army's Marcos Arroyo two minutes into the match.

Leo Saiti (Teaneck N.J./Teaneck) recorded the Knights second shot on goal, but again Britt made the save.

th minute, just after Army's goal, junior
Christian Dietrich (Berlin, Germany/Flatow-Oberschule) led an FDU attack as he shot twice over a five second span. The first shot was blocked, but he gathered his own rebound and shot on target. However, the shot was saved by the keeper.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Matthew Weigner (Warrington, Pa/Central Bucks South) made five saves for the Knights, but falls to 2-4 on the season.
