WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Fairleigh Dickinson men's tennis team fell to Army on Friday afternoon by a 6-1 score. The Knights dropped all three doubles matches and five of the six singles contests. FDU's lone victory came from senior
Arvis Berzins (Adazi, Latvia/Riga Language School) in first singles.
Berzins came back to beat Army's Sam Lampman, 3-6, 7-5, 10-3, in first singles for FDU's only victory of the day.
Berzins also played on the first doubles team along with
Gonzalo Quintana (Guayaquil, Ecuador/Colegio Particular Pert), but they lost to Lampman and Alex Van Velzer, 8-3.
