TEANECK, N.J. -- The Fairleigh Dickinson baseball team (13-30, 4-16 NEC) concludes its 2014 season this weekend with four Northeast Conference games at Mount St. Mary's (15-22, 8-12 NEC). Because of rain on Friday, the two sides will now play two doubleheaders beginning on Saturday at 1 p.m. at E.T. Straw Family Stadium. Game one will be a nine-inning contest and game two a seven-inning affair. Sunday's doubleheader, also starting at 1 p.m. will see the opener be a seven-inning game, with the nightcap set to go all nine innings.

Last Time Out
The Knights were swept at home by first-place Bryant in their home finale at the Naimoli Family Baseball Complex last weekend. Freshman Zach Tondi (Wood-Ridge, N.J./Bergen County Technical) hit .417 (5-for-12) in the series with two runs and two doubles. Junior Riley Moonan (Syracuse, N.Y./Cicero North) added five hits (.357 average) and a run, while freshman Matt McCann (West Windsor, N.J./West Windsor-Plainsboro ) and sophomore John Giakas (Staten Island, N.Y./Tottenville) both collected two RBI.

Kory Britton is hitting .321 with two home runs and a team-best 24 RBI. As a team, the Mount is hitting .261 and average 4.5 runs per game. On the mound, the Mount struggles, as the staff has a collective 6.58 ERA while allowing 6.9 runs per game in almost 300 innings.
