Twitter Updates on @FDUKnightsTEANECK, N.J. -- The Fairleigh Dickinson baseball team (6-11, 0-0 NEC) begins Northeast Conference play on Friday when it welcomes Sacred Heart (10-8, 0-0 NEC) to the Naimoli Family Baseball Complex for a four-game series beginning on Friday at 3 p.m. Saturday will feature a pair of seven-inning contests starting a 1 p.m., and the series will conclude Sunday at 1 p.m.

What You Need To Know: Pitching is the name of the game for the Pioneers, who will come into the series with a sparkling team ERA of 2.84. Staff ace Kody Kerski leads the team with an unheard of 0.27 ERA while going 4-0 in five starts, with one complete game shutout. In 33.2 innings pitched, the junior has struck out 32, walked only six and has allowed just 17 hits. Most impressively, he has allowed only two runs (one earned).
