Live StatsTEANECK, N.J. -- The Fairleigh Dickinson baseball team (6-10) hopes Mother Nature will cooperate on Tuesday when it travels to West Point, N.Y. to take on Army (15-9) for a 3:30 p.m. contest at Johnson Stadium.
Last Time OutThe Knights have been idle since March 23 when it dropped the final game of their three-game set with nationally-ranked Seton Hall. FDU was scheduled to play a four-game series over the weekend on Long Island against NYIT, but poor weather forced the cancellation of all four games, including a pair on Monday.

What You Need To Know: The Black Knights are coming off a series loss at home to Lehigh, a team the Knights have defeated three times this year (in four tries). Since beginning the season 12-5, Army has gone 3-4 in its last seven contests. Earlier in the year, the Black Knights claimed victories over Northeast Conference foes Wagner, where they won two out of three, and Central Connecticut. Offensively, Army is hitting .265 as a team and average 5.7 runs per game. John Crucitti leads the way with a .343 average (31-for-90), a team-best 31 runs and three triples, 16 RBI and a team-high 10 stolen bases. Patrick Mescher is the top power threat with team highs of two home runs and 18 RBI despite only hitting .239. On the mound, the Black Knights have pitched to an outstanding 3.01 ERA and have yielded only 194 hits in 209.1 innings while striking out 175 and issuing only 77 walks.
