HACKENSACK, N.J. -- The Fairleigh Dickinson baseball team (6-7) looks to build on its three-game winning streak this weekend when it plays a three-game series with nationally-ranked Seton Hall (12-4) starting Friday at Owen T. Carroll Field in South Orange, N.J. at 4:15 p.m. The two schools will take the series to the Naimoli Family Baseball Complex on Saturday for a 1 p.m. contest, before returning to South Orange on Sunday for the series finale at 1 p.m.

The Knights are coming off a 3-0 performance at home last weekend with an 11-8 victory over NJIT and a pair of victories over Lehigh (12-4, 9-1). Redshirt sophomore
Patrick McClure (Fayetteville, N.Y./Fayetteville-Manlius ), who was named the Northeast Conference Co-Player of the Week on Monday, paced FDU on offense after hitting .417 (5-for-12) with one home run, eight RBI and seven runs. Sophomore

On the mound, FDU pitched to a 4.00 ERA but limited its opponents to a .179 batting average. Junior starters

Eric Snyder (Slatington, Pa./Northern Lehigh) recording his third save of the season. Butler allowed three earned runs on three hits in 6.0 innings of work and struck out five, while Chalupa only yielded one earned run on only one hit to go along with six strikeouts in 7.1 innings.

Seton Hall has a victory over Oklahoma on the road and swept a three-game road series at nationally-ranked Arizona in the young season, while constructing a 9-3 road record. D.J Ruhlman leads the Pirates in hitting with a .419 average to go along with two home runs, 11 RBI, 14 runs and a team-best seven stolen bases. Sal Annnunziata adds a .387 average, team highs of 17 RBI and nine doubles and 15 runs. As a team, Seton Hall is hitting .326 with 127 runs (7.9 runs per game).
