TEANECK, N.J. -- The Fairleigh Dickinson baseball team (3-6) travels locally on Wednesday to take on Big East member St. John's (3-10) at Jack Kaiser Stadium, with first pitch scheduled for 3 p.m. The contest will be broadcast live on ESPN3.

FDU was swept in a three-game set at the Naimoli Family Baseball Complex over the weekend by Lafayette in the first home games of the season. The Knights struggled at the plate, hitting only .179 as a team and scoring six runs. Junior Riley Moonan (Syracuse, N.Y./Cicero North) and freshman Zach Tondi (Wood-Ridge, N.J./Bergen County Technical) each hit .333 in the series, with Tondi scoring two runs.
On the bump, junior Brendan Butler (W. Sayville, N.Y./Sayville) received a no-decision in the second game after allowing no earned runs on seven hits while striking out seven in 5.0 innings of work. Sophomore Logan Frati (Manorville, N.Y./Eastport/South Manor) started the opener and allowed four earned runs on 10 hits in 7.0 innings to go along with no walks and two strikeouts.
