What You Need To Know: The Knights and the Red Flash are currently separated by a half game in the league standings, with SFU in sixth place and FDU in seventh. The two sides faced each other on Feb. 1 in Loretto, Pa., and the Red Flash used a big first half to take control of the game, shooting over 60 percent from the field, 7-of-14 from three-point and forcing the Knights into 13 first-half miscues, resulting in SFU holding a 23-0 advantage in points off turnovers. Despite its first half struggles and falling behind 22 points six minutes into the second half, FDU was able to crawl back into the contest with a 17-2 spurt, which trimmed the deficit to seven. However, the Red Flash answered with a 13-3 run of their own to reestablish control of the game. The Knights shot a season-best 55.4 percent (31-of-56, 7-of-19 three's) from the field and won the battle on the glass, 32-29, but committed 16 turnovers and allowed SFU to shoot 49.2 percent, including 12-of-30 from three-point range. Sanders Jr. led all scorers with 30 points on 12-of-22 shooting from the floor to go along with a game-high eight assists, five rebounds and three steals. Ben Millaud-Meunier came off the bench to pace the Red Flash with 22 points on 6-of-11 shooting from behind the arc.
