M. Basketball Heads Down to Towson Monday Night

HACKENSACK, N.J. -- The Fairleigh Dickinson men's basketball team (4-6) continues its road swing with a trip to Towson (7-5) on Monday, Dec. 29. Tipoff from SECU Arena is slated for 7 p.m. Jon Lauder will have the call on FDUKnights.com radio.

Last Time Out
The Knights dropped a 69-60 contest at local rival Saint Peter's on Jan. 23. Mustafaa Jones (Philadelphia, Pa./Neumann-Goretti) shared a game-high 18 points on 5-of-10 shooting with three three's, while freshman guard Darian Anderson (Washington, D.C./St. John's College ) scored 14, corralled five rebounds, and dished out three assists in a game-high 36 minutes. FDU enjoyed one of its best shooting nights, at 44.9% (22-of-49 shooting), but committed 21 turnovers.

What You Need To Know: After dropping their season-opener at Alabama, the Tigers rattled off seven straight victories, including a nine point win over Northeast Conference rival Central Connecticut State, before losing at Georgetown and sparking their current four-game skid. Towson has just one double-digit scorer: Junior guard Four McGlynn's 13.8 ppg. Sophomore forward John Davis is very close at 9.9 ppg to go with his 8.6 rebounds per contest. Davis played at Neumann-Goretti like FDU's Jones. owson is 17-2 in their new home, SECU arena.
