#NECWSoccerTEANECK, N.J. – The Fairleigh Dickinson women's soccer team, the top seed in this weekend's four-team Northeast Conference Tournament (13-4-1, 6-1-1 NEC), will host fourth-seeded Saint Francis University on Friday morning in the first semifinal contest at University Stadium for a 11 a.m. kickoff. The winner will play either Central Connecticut State (No. 3) or Wagner (No. 4) in Sunday's 12 p.m. championship match. Those two schools will play in the second semifinal on Friday at 2 p.m.
The Knights will be playing in their fifth NEC Tournament and second in two seasons. They will be looking for the program's first postseason victory. All three NEC Tournament contests can be found on NEC Front Row.
Last Time OutTomorrow morning, FDU and Saint Francis will meet for the second time in six days. On Sunday in the regular season finale, the Knights hosted and defeated the reigning NEC champions, 4-1, behind goals from four different players. Three-time NEC Player of the Week

What You Need To Know: Despite the loss on Sunday, the Red Flash earned a tournament berth thanks to Wagner's defeat of Sacred Heart. The team is led by three players sitting on nine points each – Senior Mackenzie Walter, and All-Rookie candidates Gabi Morales and Allison LaDuke. Senior centerback Jessica Andrew scored her first goal of the season with a rocket free kick on Sunday to break up the shutout. SFU went with a true freshman in net on Sunday, Romina Kunze, and they may turn to her again on Friday.
