HACKENSACK, N.J. – The Fairleigh Dickinson men's basketball team (2-1) is looking to rebound from a midweek loss at Rutgers when it heads to Columbia (2-1) on Tuesday night, Nov. 25. Tipoff from Levien Gymnasium is slated for 7 p.m.

Last Time Out
The Knights were unable to record a victory in Piscataway for the second straight year after winning last year's battle, 73-72. This time the Scarlet Knights jumped out to a large 36-17 first half lead and despite FDU outscoring the hosts in the second stanza, they still fell, 61-44. Senior guard Mustafaa Jones (Philadelphia, Pa./Neumann-Goretti) was the lone Knight in double-digits with 15 (on 5-of-12 shooting) to go along with a block and three steals over 27 minutes. Sophomore guard Matt MacDonald (Buffalo, N.Y./Canisius), who hit the game-winning three last season, played a team-high 36 minutes but could only muster four points on 2-of-9 shooting.

Columbia
2014 Season: 2-1
Where: Manhattan, N.Y. (Levien Gymnasium)
When: November 25, 2014 – 7 p.m.
Series History: The Lions hold a 2-0 advantage since 2012
Last Meeting: December 21, 2013 – Columbia 82 FDU 59
What You Need To Know: Of the five Lions players that made an impact in last year's meeting, only two remain on the roster – Maodo Lo and Cory Osetkowski. Lo is the lone Columbia player that averages over 10 points per game but Osetkowski isn't far behind at 8.3 ppg. In Sunday's win at Lehigh, it was sophomore guard Jeff Coby that led the Lions with 16 points on 6-of-12 shooting to go along with 12 rebounds, both career-highs. Columbia doesn't have a deep rotation but any one of its players can step up and have a big impact.
