What You Need To Know: The Bulldogs have won one contest in each month of the season thus far but have turned it up at the right time. A heartbreaking 1-0 double-overtime loss at Sacred Heart preceded the team's best weekend of the season. Taking on the reigning NEC champions, Saint Francis U, at home last Friday, the Bulldogs struck late, with less than four seconds left in regulation, to win, 1-0. Two days later, Bryant fought to a scoreless draw at Wagner. Senior forward Katy Biagi paces her team with three goals and an assist. On Friday night, the Bulldogs dropped another hard-fought contest, 2-1, at Mount St. Mary's.
Up NextThe Knights are back in action next week for the final two-match weekend of the regular season. First up is a home clash with Sacred Heart on Friday night, Oct. 24. Two days later, FDU travels to Wagner. Kickoffs are scheduled as 7 p.m. and 1 p.m., respectively.
