SOMERSET, N.J. -- The Fairleigh Dickinson men's tennis team has earned the No. 2 seed in the 2013 Northeast Conference Tennis Championships, set to commence on Thursday, April 18 at Mercer County Park in West Windsor, NJ. The tournament will be contested over four days in a single elimination format.

The Knights dropped their NEC match of the year to top-seed Bryant, but won their last four conference matches to finish 4-1.  FDU will look to make it back-to-back titles on the men's side.

Feed-in matches begin on Thursday at 11:00 am.  Quarterfinal play takes place on Friday, followed by the semifinals on Saturday and the men's and women's title matches on Sunday.  Admission is free to the event.

FDU will play the winner of the No. 7 Sacred Heart/No. 10 Wagner match on Friday, April 19, sometime after 11:30 a.m. The Knights only played Sacred Heart this season, sweeping the Pioneers on the road, 7-0, on March 27.

The Burgundy and Blue will conclude its regular season on Tuesday with a 12 p.m. match at Concordia.
