Scouting Wagner: The Seahawks (22-4, 13-2 NEC), who were picked to finish fourth in the Northeast Conference, have already set their program record for wins in a season with 22 and are off to their best start ever. They finished the non-conference schedule with a school-record 9-2 record and won 10 games before the end of 2011 for the first time in school history. Wagner comes into the game on a seven-game win streak after losing to LIU Brooklyn for the second time this season (only two NEC losses). The Seahawks won at No. 15 Pittsburgh on December 23 and also won the championship at the 45th Cable Car Classic in Santa Clara, CA with victories over Air Force and host Santa Clara. Wagner has played two common opponents that the Knights have played this season in Lafayette and Lehigh. The Seahawks won at Lafayette (76-70), while the Knights fell 85-74. Both teams lost to Lehigh at home (WC lost 70-69; FDU lost 72-61). The only other loss Wagner suffered was at No. 4 Connecticut (78-66). The Seahawks are 10-2 in home games this season.
Sophomore guard Latif Rivers leads Wagner in scoring at 14.7 ppg and is shooting 88.5 percent (92-of-104) from the free throw line. Junior guard Jonathon Williams is the team's second-leading

All-Time Series: This will be the 92nd meeting between the two schools which dates back to the 1955-56. The Knights hold a 49-42 advantage but on only 20-22 on Grimes Hill. Wagner won earlier this season at FDU, 88-64, and last year in Staten Island, NY, 61-57, in the only meeting of season. FDU won, 70-65, at Stratis Arena two seasons ago and won at Wagner, 59-57, in double overtime during the 2008-09 campaign to snap the Seahawks' four-game win streak in the series.
