The Fairleigh Dickinson men's basketball team will look to pick up its second victory of the season late Sunday afternoon when they travel to Albany, NY to take on Albany. Tip-off is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. at SEFCU Arena. The game will mark the second of seven-straight away from Stratis Arena for the Knights.
The Knights (1-3) are coming off a tough loss 85-74 loss at Lafayette last Tuesday night. FDU led by seven at halftime and by as many as eight in the second half before a 30-6 run by the Leopards put the game away.

Melquan Bolding (Mt. Vernon, N.Y./Bishop Stepinac) had a career night for the Knights as he scored a career-high 33 points on a career-best 12 field goals (out of 24 attempts). He also grabbed seven rebounds and knocked down 5-of-8 three-pointers. Junior
Lonnie Hayes (Cincinnati, Ohio/Harmony Prep) added 19 points, while grad student
George Goode (Raytown, MO/Raytown South) chipped in 10 points and tied a career high with nine rebounds.
Scouting Albany: The Great Danes (3-3) have alternated wins and losses over their first six games of the season and have already played two top-10 teams this season (losses at Pittsburgh and Syracuse with the latter coming in the preseason NIT). Albany also owns a victory over NEC-foe Monmouth (85-49) in the preseason NIT as well. They are coming off their home-opener on Friday, a 69-62 win over Navy. Junior Gerardo Suero leads the Great Danes in both scoring (20.7 ppg) and rebounding (5.8 rpg) and is also shooting over 50 percent from the floor including 41.2 percent from three-point range. Junior Logan Aronhalt is the team's second-leading scorer at 15.0 ppg and is averaging 5.2 rpg. Junior Mike Black is averaging 10.3 ppg and leads the team with 5.2 assists per game.
All-Time Series: This will be only the third meeting between the schools, first meeting on March 6, 1959, a 56-53 FDU victory, in the finals of the NAIA District 31 playoffs in Montclair, NJ. Last season, Albany defeated the Knights in FDU's second game of the season, 72-46, at Stratis Arena in Hackensack.
