In the opener, Fordham scored at least four runs in each of the first five frames.  FDU held a 2-0 lead after the top of the first, following a two-RBI double to centerfield by Maher.  Junior infielder Zachary Sand (San Diego, CA/Mission Bay) homered to begin a two-run third inning.

Freshman infielder Steven LaForge (Garfield, NJ/St. Mary) and sophomore outfielder Patrick Furey (Ponoma, NY/North Rockland) drove in a run in the ninth with RBI base knocks.  Lazar plated a pair to cap a six-run frame.

Two unearned runs in the nightcap sank the Knights.  Junior lefty John Meadus (Mt. Holly, NJ/Holy Cross) was saddled with the loss, after hurling six innings.  Freshman right-hander Zachary Kisling tossed two shutout of relief.

Junior outfielder Jeff Vincent (Murrysville, PA/Franklin Regional) brought in Fairleigh Dickinson's lone run in the second inning with an RBI single.
