The Fairleigh Dickinson University women's soccer team lost in a Vestal, NY mud-fest to home-standing Binghamton University, 3-0, Friday, Sept. 15. Bearcats midfielder forward Kim Povill netted the game-winner in the 33rd minutes as the Knights dropped to 1-5 on the year. 
 
Senior goalkeeper Kyla Clark (/Notre Dame/Univ. of Texas - El Paso) (Ottawa, Ontario) took the loss, despite making seven saves in 90 minutes.
 
“This was a game where whatever team wanted it more would get the win,” Head Coach Renee Montana said. “We just never showed up to play today.”
 
Povill struck again from 40 yards out early in the second half, while midfielder Tricia Reed recorded the final score for the Bearcats (2-3-2).
 
The Knights host Hofstra University of the Colonial Athletic Association at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17 marking their final non-conference home game of the 2006 season at University Field.
