Women's Volleyball Falls to Lehigh in Three Games

HACKENSACK, NJ - The Fairleigh Dickinson University women's volleyball team fell to visiting Lehigh in three games on Wednesday evening at the Rothman Center. The Knights fall to 10-13 with the loss, and after defeating FDU 31-29, 33-31 and 30-22, the Mountain Hawks improve to 4-14.

Megan Philbrick led the Knights with eight kills and Rebecca Tenney contributed seven. Ruth Levy notched 30 assists, four aces and 11 digs. Lauren Lombardo posted 10 digs and Tenney, Levy and Lauren Boothby each had three blocks.

Michelle Schwendenmann led the Mountain Hawks with a match-high 21 kills. Elizabeth McGehee posted 31 assists, while Cassidy Maumus recorded 16 digs and Julia Atkins notched five blocks.

The Knights are back in action when they travel to Quinnipiac on Oct. 15 for a 1:00 p.m. match.
