Chelsea Ellis entered her first year as a graduate assistant with the Fairleigh Dickinson media relations office in 2021-22.
Prior to joining FDU, Ellis worked as a social media intern for the University of Florida's athletic department. Ellis organized 'social media takeover' events to publicize several Gators teams, managed the Instagram stories on the main Florida Gators account during football, basketball, gymnastics, baseball and other high-profile events and also engaged with fans, sponsors and athletes through social media while producing and creating content for all social media platforms.
Ellis served in that position for two years while concurrently serving as a content tutor for the University of Florida. She assisted student-athletes with AP Style writing, public speaking, statistics and helped craft study schedules and study guides suited to each individual student-athlete's needs.
Ellis graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and a dual-minor in Event Management and Dance. While at FDU, she is working towards her MBA at the University's Silberman College of Business.
