FDU Knights Athletics

James Foo joined the Knights as Assistant Coach in July of 2003 and will be entering his ninth season as an assistant coach.  He assists in the recruiting, physical and tactical training of the team, along with aiding the overall development of the program.

Prior to joining the Knights, Foo served as a coach and Assistant to the Technical Director of the New Jersey Girls Volleyball Club (D.I.G.S.) in New Milford, NJ.  His duties included the planning and training of all players on an individual and team basis.  He supervised and coached several teams at the regional and national level, including the 1999 Regional Champions and the 2003 National Championship Qualifiers.

In addition with his volleyball experience, Foo works as Office Manager for Henry Lau, M.D. in Hackensack, NJ, where he oversees the daily operation of a medical office.

Foo is a 1986 graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University with a B.S. in Computer Science.  In 2009, he earned a master's degree  in Administrative Science from FDU.  Foo currently resides in Fair Lawn, NJ with his wife, Megan.
