Bill Lee is in his first season as a volunteer assistant coach for the Fairleigh Dickinson volleyball team.
Lee arrives in Hackensack after spending eight seasons as an assistant coach at Ramapo College (NCAA Division III) from 2009-16.
Additionally, Lee is currently the Club Director for Jersey Girls Volleyball Club, better known as DIGS, "Do It Garden State". DIGS is a not-for-profit girls volleyball club dedicated to developing middle school and high school female student-athletes in the northern New Jersey and downstate New York region. DIGS supports 135 families comprising ten teams with athletes ranging from 12 to 18 years old. DIGS is one of the premier volleyball clubs in the region with a competitive reputation for over 20 years.
Coach Lee has coached with DIGS for the past seventeen years leading multiple teams to Regional and Junior Olympic National Championships, while also spending time developing the sport of volleyball in New Jersey with Little Spike, a youth program which introduces volleyball to children ages 6-12. Last season he led a 17 National Team to the Gold Medal in the GEVAÂ Regional Championship and Gold Medal in the season ending Happy Volley Championships at Penn State.Â
He is a certified USA Volleyball IMPACT, CAPI, and CAP II Instructor, and spends time conducting multiple volleyball camps and clinics. It is his eighth year coaching with USA Volleyball High Performance Youth, Select, and Future Select Programs. He serves as a Lead evaluator for the National HP tryouts. This year he served as the Head coach for the GEVA High Performance team competing in USA Volleyball's High Performance Championships in Fort Lauderdale Fla.
