Thiago Dualiby

Thiago Dualiby is entering his first season as an assistant coach for the Fairleigh Dickinson men’s and women’s tennis teams in 2012-13.

“Thiago’s passion for the game is infectious, and he is a welcomed addition to our program,” Head Coach Jonathan Buchman said.  

During the summer of 2012, Dualiby served as Assistant Tennis Department Head at Camp Vega in Fayette, Maine where he evaluated performance of athletes and provided reports. He also helped train the staff of the camp.

Prior to Camp Vega, Dualiby worked at Mount Olive College as Assistant Tennis Coach during the 2012 season. In his capacity, he helped plan practices and scheduling of matches. He worked with student-athletes in practice and on an individual basis.
 
Dualiby got his start in coaching as a tennis pro at Camp Vega during the summer of 2009 and held the position for the next two summers as well. His position involved teaching tennis to kids age 7-15 in private and group sessions. He was responsible for the safety and well-being of the players on the tennis court.
 
Sao Paulo, Brazil native played collegiately at Martin Methodist College, an NAIA school in Pulaski, Tenn. before finishing his career at Division II Mount Olive College in Mount Olive, N.C.

Dualiby, who is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish, graduated from Mount Olive College in May 2012 with degrees in Business Management and Environmental Science.
