Phil Casella, a 1997 Fairleigh Dickinson graduate, returns to the Teaneck campus for his sixth season, following an exciting professional career. He played two seasons (1996-1997) for the New Jersey Imperials of the U.S.I.S.L. The Imperials were the 1996 Northeast Division champions and U.S.I.S.L. Championship semifinalists.

A forward for the Knights from 1993-1995, he led the team to two Northeast Conference Tournament appearances. In 1995 he led the team with 14 goals and still holds the eighth best single-season point total of 33 in 1995.

Casella holds a U.S.S.F. National "C" Coaching License and served as an assistant coach with the Eastern New York Olympic Developmental Program from 2000-2002. In August 2003, Casella was named head coach of the Under 17 team. He resides in Bayside, Queens.
