Michael J.S. Louter is beginning his second season as assistant coach with the Knights. He holds a USSF "A" license as well as the NSCAA Advanced National Diploma.

Before joining the Fairleigh Dickinson staff, Louter served as the head men's soccer coach at Brevard College, a member of the Appalachian Athletic Conference and NAIA. Louter's coaching career began at Brevard, where from 1994 to 1998, he served as the assistant coach for men's and women's soccer. During his time as assistant, the women's team won two NJCAA National Championships and the men's team had an NJCAA final national ranking of seventh.

In March 2003, Louter began as the ODP Director, hiring, training and supervising coaches for all Alabama ODP teams. At the IMG Soccer Academy from 1999 through 2003, Louter was the head soccer coach for the U-15 boys team, winning two national tournaments (Tampa SunBowl, 2000 and 2001). The team was also ranked number one in 2000 and 2001. He produced three national team pool players and held a 41-5-5 overall record in two seasons. Louter was an assistant men's soccer coach at Presbyterian College from July 1998, assisting in all facets of the program, which competed on the Division 2 NSCAA level.

Louter has 14 years of playing experience, 11 of which came in The Netherlands. Starting at the amateur level, Louter played for Vitesse and then was in the U-16 National Pool before playing professionally for AZ in Alkmar. His college career started at Brevard College and concluded at Berry College in Rome, GA, where he graduated with a B.S. in Psychology. He later pursued his M.S. Degree in Sport Fitness and Sport Coaching, each with an emphasis in Sports Psychology at the United States Sports Academy in Daphne, AL. Louter currently resides in Englewood, NJ.
