- Nielsen was the only Knight to appear in and start all 20 games while playing every single minute of the season Â
- Earned the NEC Rookie of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week awards the week on Sept. 14
- Earned a clean sweep of NEC weekly honors the week of Sept. 8
- Named NEC Rookie of the Week for the week of Aug. 31
- Finished the season with eight shutouts and a save percentage of 78.7% to go along with a goals against average of 1.20
- Logged six clean sheets in an eight game span beginning on 9/3 vs. Seton Hall and running through 10/7 at Sacred Heart
- Notched a season-high 11 saves at Wagner on 10/14 in a 2-1 double-overtime victory
- Played for Ikast-Brande Gymnasium in high school
- Played high-level club soccer with JAI Aarhus in Denmark
- Earned Player of the Club multiple occasions at the club level
