Noelle Picone begins her first season with the Fairleigh Dickinson women's soccer team in 2021-22.
A former Knight herself, Picone returns to the banks of the Hackensack to assist her former head coach for her first NCAA Division I coaching position. Prior to her return to FDU, Picone spent over five years with The College of New Jersey as the program saw an incredibly successful stretch of play, going 70-5-6 during her time as an assistant coach.
From 2016-19, Picone and TCNJ would make all four NCAA Tournaments in that timeframe, reaching their peak in 2017 as the Lions would ultimately reach the Final Four in that season. In addition to tournament success, Picone was part of a TCNJ side that would win three consecutive NJAC Tournament crowns from 2017-19, Picone helped oversee the development of nine Division Three All-Americans in her time on staff.
Picone brings with her a wealth of knowledge as not just a successful coach, but as a player on both the collegiate and post-collegiate level. Picone spent time with the NJ Wildcats W-League and WPSL semi-professional teams following her time at FDU.
While at FDU, Picone was a part of two NEC Regular Season Champions, including the 2015 side that won both the regular season and NEC Tournament crown, en route to an NCAA Tournament berth. As an individual, Picone was a two-time All-NEC Second Team honoree, as she made 77 appearances over her career. She also excelled in the classroom, earning a spot on the NEC Academic Honor Roll.
A member of the FDU Class of 2016, Picone earned her degree in Biology and Psychology.
