Kristie Lang joined the Fairleigh Dickinson University women’s soccer staff in May of 2013.  Lang is a 2010 graduate and  was a four-year member of the women’s soccer team at Rutgers University.  She currently coaches various age levels at the prestigious Players Development Academy soccer club in Zarephath, N.J.  Lang serves as the head coach of the U9 girls’ team and as an assistant coach to the U12 girls’ team that won the 2012 New Jersey State Cup. 

As an assistant coach with the Knights, Lang is responsible for day-to-day operations, recruiting, travel management, practice instruction and alumni relations.

“Kristie joins our staff with a tremendous amount of experience and knowledge as a player and coach,” explained Stainton.  “Her passion for the game is contagious and combined with her personality the team instantly connects with her.  She will contribute greatly to our program in all facets.”

During her time at Rutgers, Lang interned at MSG Sports where she worked directly with MSG President, Scott O’Neil.  The East Brunswick native also assisted the Office of Alumni Relations at Rutgers University and was a youth instructor with the Mike O’Neill School of Soccer. 

As a forward and midfielder for the Scarlet Knights, Lang played in 84 games and tallied nine goals through four years at Rutgers.

Lang graduated from Rutgers in 2010 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Sport Management with a minor in economics.  She currently resides in Morristown, N.J.
