Weisberg completed his seventh season as an assistant coach for the FDU women's soccer team in 2021.

In 2019, FDU reached the third NEC Championship Game in program history and the Knights finished conference play undefeated with a 7-0-3 mark. Weisberg helped guide goaltender Amanda Fitzgerald to earn NEC Co-Goalkeeper of the Year and All-NEC First Team honors. Fitzgerald graduates as the program leader in saves, shutouts, and save percentage. The Knights also had Christa Waterman earn All-NEC First Team Honors and Maja Skansberg receive All-NEC Rookie Honors.

Weisberg and the Knights reached the NEC Quarterfinals in 2018. The Burgundy and Blue had Stasi Torchia and Samantha Roff earn All-NEC First Team Honors and Madelyn Robbins and Noam Kedem receive All-NEC Rookie Team Accolades.

In 2017, the Knights claimed their third Northeast Conference regular season title in four seasons with Weisberg, and he helped guide three First Team All-NEC performers, including NEC Rookie of the Year Sofia Albertsson, along with two Second Team All-NEC and two NEC All-Rookie honorees.

Weisberg coached an additional six All-NEC performers, including two first-team, a second-team and three all-rookie honorees in 2016. The Knights made the NEC Tournament for the third straight season.

In 2015 (16-6), Weisberg helped the Knights claim both the NEC regular season title (8-0) -- the program's second straight -- and the Northeast Conference Tournament title for the first time. The NEC Title clinched an automatic birth into the NCAA Tournament for the Knights -- first appearance in program history. The Knights also had the program's first NEC Player of the Year -- Amanda Goulet, Golden Boot Award Winner -- Rachel Hoekstra, NEC Rookie of the Year -- Jessi Reinhardt, three All-NEC First Team selections, one Second Team nod and a pair of All-Rookie Team members. 

In 2014, Weisberg helped the Knights set a then program record for wins with a 14-6-1 record. The Knights also finished first in the NEC during the regular season and finished as the runner’s-up in the NEC Championship. 

Weisberg comes to Teaneck from Iona College, where he was the women's assistant coach from 2006-10. In 2009 season, the Gaels finished third in the MAAC conference at the end of the regular season marking their best finish in over 15 years.

Prior to arriving at Iona, Weisberg was an assistant coach for the men’s program at Manhattan College. He has also been at Division II Dominican College with the men, where he was an assistant from 2002 to 2004 and helped the team to the CACC Conference championship in 2002. Dominican reached the CACC semifinals in 2003 and was conference champions again in 2004.

Weisberg is a member of the Region 1 ODP coaching staff and has been on the staff for the ENYYSA Olympic Development (ODP) Program as a head coach since 2002 working on both the boys' and girls' sides.

Weisberg is currently a Director at NY Rush and was a Director of Coaching at Manhattan Soccer Club in NYC for many years. He has also spent time at TSF Academy and coached teams in the Super Y League, and in 2008 helping the Super G20's to the national finals. He had coached the Women's Open Team for Hudson Valley in the Empire State Games from 2002-2008 as well as coaching with many youth clubs in the Westchester.

He was a former director of coaching for Middlepath/Yorktown FC Jaguars, NY girls' premier soccer club for six years, preparing them to play collegiate soccer at the highest levels. He then moved on to coach with top-ranked Albertson SC on Long Island, where he coached their ECNL girls’ squads.

Weisberg holds a USSF "A" license and an NSCAA Premier Diploma, which he did in Curitiba, Brazil in May 2005, as it was the first U.S. coaching course ever given in Brazil. He recently was part of another soccer first when he received the NSCAA Director of Coaching Diploma (DOC) in Oct. 2005. This is the first DOC course ever given in the United States. He is also been a talent scout at US Soccer’s’ Market Training Centers in the New York and New Jersey areas. 

Weisberg played his collegiate soccer at Stony Brook University and graduated in 1997 with a B.A. in psychology and holds a Masters degree in counseling psychology from Pace University. Weisberg and his wife, Jill, currently reside in White Plains, N.Y. with their two children, Sophie and Gavin.
