Head coach Eric Teepe and the Fairleigh Dickinson women's soccer program announced the addition of Alexis Urbanski to the Knights' coaching staff in 2017.

Urbanski comes to Fairleigh Dickinson after playing collegiately at both Seton Hall and St. John's. The Aberdeen, New Jersey, native will start her second season coaching the Knights in 2018.

"I am very excited to join coach Teepe and Jason Weisberg here at Fairleigh Dickinson," said Urbanski upon her hiring in 2017. "I cannot wait to take advantage of this great opportunity I have to begin my [collegiate] coaching career. I am eager to use what I have learned while playing at St. John's and transfer that to our players [at FDU] to continue to compete at the highest level and succeed both on and off the field."

Urbanski played three seasons with the Red Storm and scored the game-winning goal against Central Connecticut in the first game of the 2016 campaign. She played her first two collegiate seasons (2012, 2013) at Seton Hall. Coaching wise, Urbanski is a US Youth Soccer Region One Assistant Coach in Training and was an administrator for Region Events in 2017 -- U.S. ODP National Camp.

"We are very excited to add Alexis to our coaching staff," said Teepe. "Her experience as a player and a coach will be valuable to our current players in training, competition and off the field as well."
