Biography
2020-21: Appeared in four games as a freshman ... Made her collegiate debut against Binghamton (12/2) ... Also made appearances against LIU (2/5), Wagner (2/15), and Mount St. Mary's (3/10) ... Attempted her first career shot against Binghamton as well.
Prior to FDU: Led Bishop O’Connell High School to an appearance in the state championship game her senior year. Played for the Fairfax Stars EYBL program. She was a member of the National Honors Society and Spanish honors society.
Personal: Daughter of Margarita Benavides and Michael Brunais. Interests outside of sports include dancing and cosmetology. My favorite basketball memory was beating St. John’s Catholic H.S. at the buzzer and also beating Oakton High School to break a 14-year losing streak against them on their home court.
