Lauren brings added height to our lineup as well as great shooting and scoring. She has a long three-point range.

Trumbull High School: Named All State first team Hartford carant and New Haven Register, All FCIAC first team, All Connecticut Post first team, JCC all star game during senior year...Was awarded 3 varsity letters...Accumulated a total of 1050 career points...Averaged 20 ppg, 5 apg, 5 rpg and 6 spg during senior year. Personal: Born to Irwin and Robin Coombs on June 30, 1987...Played for Connecticut Thunder AAU team...Awarded 4 varsity letters in golf...Named Connecticut Post most valuable player, All FCIAC first team, Best All Around Female Golfer during senior year...Honor roll student for all 4 years...Plans to major in Education.. Has two sisters, Heather and Ashley, both play for the Knights.
