Stephen Perretta entered his first season with the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights ahead of the 2021-22 campaign. Perretta serves as the Graduate Assistant for the women's basketball program.
Prior to joining FDU, Perretta served as the Head JV Coach and Assistant Varsity Coach at Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, Pennsylvania. Perretta found quick success, leading the JV program to an 11-7 record and helping the varsity program to a 17-10 record. He also has experience on the AAU level, in addition to working at several summer camps, including those at Villanova University.
Perretta served as a Villanova Practice Player for the women's basketball program from 2017-19. During this time, he also served as the timeout coordinator for many of both the men's and women's home games.
Perretta graduated from Villanova University in 2021 with a major in Communications. His father, Harry, served as Villanova's head women's basketball coach for 42 seasons, retiring in 2020 with a 765-476 record.
