Following Jefferson’s collegiate career, she played semi-professional basketball for the New York Gazelles from 2001-2002. Jefferson is a graduate of the NCAA Women Coaches Academy (WCA) class of 2014.  She is a member of both the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association and the Black Coaches Association.
