2012-2013: Ran the 200m, 800m, and 1000m distances… Had the Knights’ top time in the 1000m, finishing in 2:57.00H at the FDU Knight Indoor Classic (12/2/12)… Set a personal record in the outdoor 800m with a time of 2:00.53 at the Colonial Relays (4/4/13).

2011-12: Spent most of the indoor season running the 800m and as part of the 4x400m relay team… Posted a time of 2:00.62 in the 800m at the New Balance Invitational (2/11/12)… Ran a personal record 2:00.40 in the 800m at the NEC Indoor Championships (2/11/12)… During the outdoor season, helped the 4x400m relay team to a time of 3:31.65 at the Metropolitan Championships (4/14/12)… Turned in a 2:02.46 in the 800m at the NEC Outdoor Championships (5/5/12)… 

2010-11: Ran the 400m in 55.90 at the Fordham Season Opener (12/3/10)… Best time in the 400m came at the Terrapin Indoor Invitational with a 55.20 finish (1/22/11)… Had a season-best time of 55.04 in the 400m at the 2011 Colonial Relays (3/31/11)… Posted a career-best time in the 800m at the Northeast Conference Outdoor Championships in 2:03.98 (5/7/11)… 

Union City: Member of the cross country and track and field teams... Captained the track and field team... Named MVP of the cross country squad...

Personal: Born July 13, 1992... Son of Francisco Ortiz and Ramonita Martinez... Majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
