Madison Townley


Madison Townley joined the Fairleigh Dickinson Athletic Department in August of 2017 as the Assistant Director of Student Athlete Support Services. 

Townley comes to Fairleigh Dickinson from George Washington University in Washington D.C. where she was a Student Athlete Development Assistant. At GW, Townley provided academic counseling services for the at-risk student population, served as a Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) advisor and implemented a four stage career development model for the GW student athletes. 

Prior to her time at GW, Townley spent got her master's degree -- education, physical education with a concentration in athletic administration -- from Springfield College (Mass.) where she was also an Athletic Administration Teaching Fellow.  

Townley spent the summer of 2015 working with Skidmore College Athletics (N.Y.) as an intern helping with a multitude of tasks, including disseminate NCAA facts and figures on overall cost per program, cost per an athlete, revenue generation, and other relevant information as well as the Valentine Boathouse feasibility prospect review to determine capital project fundraising potential. 

The Saratoga, New York native was a four-year member of the women's rowing team at George Washington. She was also the SAAC representative for the rowing team.
