FDU Knights Athletics

2017-18: Appeared in 16 games averaging 4.5 minutes per contest..Scored 13 points with 15 rebounds and six blocked shots on the season.

2016-17: Played in all 30 games and made three starts on the season. Averaged 4.6 points and 3.7 rebounds and blocked a team-high 27 shots. Scored a career-high 13 points at Central Connecticut State on 2/9 and grabbed a career-best 10 rebounds at Fordham on 11/18. For the season shot 50.5 percent overall and made seven 3-pointers.

2015-16: Saw action in 30 games as a freshman for FDU…Totaled 110 points and 67 rebounds…Averaged 3.7 points and 2.2 rebounds per game…Recorded several athletic dunks on put backs…Also can hit the three-pointer…Shot 53.8% (42-of-78) from the field…Scored in double-digits on two occasions…Scored a game-high 12 points against Towson on December 18 and dropped in 11 vs. Robert Morris on February 13…Also had a career-high seven rebounds against the Colonials on February 13…Recorded two blocks against Sacred Heart on February 20 and two against Mount St. Mary’s on February 25.

Prior to FDU:  A native of Troy, New York who graduated from Catholic Central High School...Averaged 15.0 points, 11.0 rebounds and shot 45 percent from the floor, while collecting three double-doubles in his senior season...Helped the team earn a #1 area ranking in the Albany Times Union poll, as Central Catholic finished the year with a 17-2 record and ranked #24 in the New York State Sportswriter Association Class AA poll...Individually, he was named to the Troy Record's All-Area Large School Third Team and All-City All-Star at Lansingburgh High School...Played a postgraduate season at Mercersburg in Mercersburg, Pennsylvania.

Coach Herenda on Signing Miller: "Malik Miller is a big physical player that has excellent perimeter skills.  He is 6-9 and can shoot the three, put the ball on the floor, and rebounds and blocks shots in the paint. He has great versatility and a tremendous work ethic. We are very fortunate to have him join our program."
