The Citadel Highlights

• With Hayes on-staff, the Bulldogs completed the second-largest Division I win turnaround as The Citadel posted a year-over-year win increase of seven from 2019-20 to 2020-21
• Working with The Citadel's hot hands, Hayes guided the program to lead all of Division I in three-point shooting in each of his two seasons on-staff

Barton Highlights

• Assisted the Division II Bulldogs to a 20-win campaign and top-10 finish in points, assists and field goal percentage

• A two-time high school basketball coach at Terry Sanford and Notre Dame Prep, Hayes was the youngest head coach in Section 4A of North Carolina at age 25, the largest section in the Tar Heel state
