Samantha Monaco enters her first year with Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2021-22.
Prior to joining FDU, Monaco spent two years with George Washington University as a graduate assistant. Monaco worked with the men's and women's water polo teams, as well as the men's soccer program, ensuring full safety of the athletes and working with opposing teams, coaching staffs, and academic support staff to protect and assist the student-athletes entrusted to her care.
Monaco spent time prior to that at the University of South Carolina, where she assisted as an athletic training student for four years while attending the university as an undergrad. Monaco helped to facilitate rehabilitation following surgery for student-athletes, and served alongside the head athletic trainer and sports medicine staff while there, including earning an invite to the 2018 Outback Bowl as a member of the staff.
Monaco graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Athletic Training from the University of South Carolina in 2019. She would then graduate from George Washington University with a Master of Science in Exercise Science, Concentration in Strength and Conditioning, in 2021.
