Bryan Jackson

Bryan Jackson was named Assistant Athletic Director/Communications at Fairleigh Dickinson in September of 2016.

He arrived in Teaneck following a three-year tenure as the Sports Information Director at Fairleigh Dickinson University's NCAA Division III Florham Campus.


In his current role, Jackson oversees all athletic communications for the department, which includes media and event coverage and publicity and promotional efforts for the department's 19 Division I programs. Additionally, Jackson serves as the primary contact for the Knights' men's basketball, women's volleyball, baseball and golf teams. 

Jackson's day-to-day duties include writing and distributing athletics press releases, producing featured video content for the FDU student-athletes and teams, maintaining the official athletics website (FDUKnights.com), and management of the department's official social media accounts. He also serves as a member of the Fairleigh Dickinson University Hall of Fame induction committee.


During his tenure with the Knights, Jackson has helped the men's basketball program gain coverage in news outlets such as the New York TimesNew York Post, USA Today, SI.com, and Gannett Newspapers as well as, local New York/New Jersey television affiliates and nationally syndicated radio programs. 

Jackson, who is an active member of College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), arrived at FDU-Florham after a brief tenure at St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn). Prior to joining St. Joseph's College, Jackson worked as an Account Executive for a prominent information technology solutions provider in New York City for four years. 

While at the Florham Campus, he oversaw the redesign of the Devils' official website, FDUDevils.com and helped spearhead the launch of "Devils Advocates", which is Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham's athletic benefactor group. Additionally, he served as the host sports information director for the 2014 and 2015 NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Tournaments.

A native of Old Bridge, N.J., Jackson graduated from Salisbury University in 2008 with a B.S. in Marketing. He resides in Northport, N.Y. with his wife Jamie and son Leo.
