Biography

La Salle Institute: Played three years of varsity baseball… In 2013 was named First Team All-Conference All-Star and Second Team All-Area Honors from the Times Union and Troy Record… Served as team captain senior year… Junior year led his high school team with a .436 average including 24 hits, one triple, five doubles, and 20 RBI’s and was a part of the second place team in the 17u Don Mattingly World Series… Senior year won the 18u State Championship.

Personal: Played for the South Troy Dodgers… Born July 27, 1996… Son of John and Brenda Sportman… Older brother, J.P. Sportman, played baseball at CCSU, also has a younger sister Morgan… Sports Administration major.
