Biography

2014: Made 10 appearances including seven starts on the bump for the Knights… Posted a 4.11 ERA with 14 strikeouts in 30.2 innings pitched... Earned his lone win of the season against Lehigh (2/23) where he came on in relief allowing no runs on four hits over 2.2 innings… Made his best start of the season against LIU Brooklyn (5/04) giving up no runs on three hits and striking out two over 5.2 innings. 

2013: Worked primarily as a starting pitcher for the Knights as a sophomore…Appeared in 12 games making 10 starts and working 40.2 innings…Allowed 45 earned runs on 59 hits and 35 walks…Struck out 15 batters…Was 0-7 on the season.

2012: Named New Jersey Collegiate Baseball Association Division I Rookie Pitcher of the Year after going 3-4 with a 5.33 ERA in 12 appearances, including eight starts, while tossing two complete-game shutouts... Struck out 24 batters in 49.0 innings of work and allowed opponents to hit only .259... Was a staple in FDU's Northeast Conference starting pitching rotation... Made his Knights debut in a 3-1 loss at Monmouth (3/16), pitching in relief... His first four appearances came out of the bullpen before making a memorable first career start in a 2-0 win over NEC champion Sacred Heart (3/31), where he went the distance in 75 pitches, scattering three singles, while walking two and striking out three to pick up his first career victory in the complete-game shutout en route to earning NEC and NJCBA Rookie of the Week honors... In his next start against Wagner (4/6), he threw another complete-game shutout and allowed only a fourth-inning single in the Knights' 4-0 victory, as his performance earned him his second consecutive NEC and NJCBA Rookie of the Week accolades... Allowed only one run in 6.0 innings of work, while walking two and striking out two, in a 3-1 victory at NEC regular season champion Bryant (4/28) for his third victory of the season and propelling FDU to a doubleheader sweep over the Bulldogs... Went 3-3 in NEC play with one no-decision...
