Eric Anderson is set to begin his fourth season as an assistant on the FDU Baseball staff in 2019.
Anderson, who serves as the team's hitting coach, returned to the Knights in 2016 after a stellar career, which included a 2012 NEC Tournament appearance.
In 2012, Anderson hit .300 with eight home runs and 40 RBI to help the Knights return to the NEC Tournament for the first time since the 1999 season. For his career at FDU he belted 15 home runs and collected 100 runs batted in.
"I am very pleased to add Eric to our staff," former Knights head coach Gary Puccio said when announcing his staff. "He is a dedicated worker and the season he had for us in 2012 had a lot to do with us making the playoffs that year."
"Eric was actually the first player I met here when I took over the team in fall 2010. The second day on the job, I remember he was waiting at the door for me," Puccio recalled with a smile. "He was eager to show me that he could play and after I watched him practice for a week or so I was sure he could too."
