2021-22
  • Named to the Second Team All-NEC for the second consecutive season for her work as a key member of the Knights' stout defense
  • Played in, and started, 19 games for a total of 1,650 minutes
  • Played in each of the Knights shutout victories, logging at least 90 minutes played on 11 different occasions during the season
  • Over a five-game stretch from 10/17 to 11/5 Ruess logged a total of 499 minutes played in the Knights defense, which was every available minute over that span, emphasizing her quality and her importance to the Knights cause 
2020-2021
  • Was named to the Second Team All-NEC for her effort on the defensive end of the pitch
  • Started seven matches on defense and dished out an assist
  • Ruess' assist came in FDU's final match of the season on a goal that was scored by Robbins  
  • Ruess led a back line that only allowed six goals all season in the NEC, which came out to only 0.86 goals against average per match
  • The Knights defense registered three clean sheets on the season
2019-20
  • Ruess played in 13 games and earned 11 starts for the Knights backline in her sophomore season

2018-19
  • Made the NEC Fall Commissioner's Honor Roll (min. 3.75 GPA)
  • Started five of 15 games played on the backline as a freshman 
  • Played a total of 619 minutes with a season-high of 88 minutes against Army (9/9)
  • Totaled five shots on the season, including shots on goal against Saint Francis U (10/20) and Sacred Heart (10/28).

  • Played club soccer for VFL Sindelfingen
  • Received 11 commendations from class 5-10 and 12 along with a class 11 book prize
