Biography

2012: Named to the New Jersey Collegiate Baseball Association Division I All-Rookie Team after hitting .270 (53-for-196) in 54 games, including 50 starts in left field... Named to the Northeast Conference All-Tournament team after hitting .429 (6-for-14) with a double, two RBI and two runs scored over three games... Led the team with 196 at-bats... His 53 hits were the third most on the team... Scored the second-most runs on the team with 34... Led the team in stolen bases with 10 (on 14 attempts)... Had five extra-base hits, including one triple, and collected 15 RBI... Also led the team with six sacrifice bunts and was hit by a pitch a team-leading 13 times... Collected 12 multi-hit games... Reached base four times (three singles, one HBP), scored a run and drove home a run in his Knights' debut against Lehigh (2/25)... Reached base three more times (single, two HBP), stole two bases, scored one run and drove home a run in a 6-3 loss to NYIT (3/6)... Had two doubles and scored twice in FDU's 5-3 victory at Quinnipiac (3/24)... Collected two singles, two RBI, two runs scored and two sacrifice bunts in a win over Central Connecticut State (4/20)... Had two singles and drove in the lone run in FDU's 7-1 loss to Monmouth (5/17) in the opening game of the NEC Tournament... Scored the first run of the game and drove home the game-winning run, with a one-out single to right field in the seventh inning, in the Knights' 3-2 victory over Central Connecticut State (5/18) in a elimination game in the NEC Tournament... Collected two hits, including a double, and scored the tying run in the bottom of the seventh in FDU's season-ending 11-inning, 5-3 loss against Monmouth (5/19)...

Woodside: Earned four letters, while playing three different positions… As a junior, was named First Team All-District and Second Team All-Regional as an outfielder along with being named team captain… As a senior, was team captain, while earning First Team All-District and Honorable Mention All-Regional honors… Hit .464 during his senior campaign, stole at least 20 bases during his junior and senior seasons and led team to most wins in school history (20) including 19 consecutive district wins… Also earned four letters in golf, earning Second Team All-District as a junior and First Team All-District honors as senior, while captaining the squad… Graduated fifth in his class of 424 students with a 4.32 GPA…
